1. Information we collect
- Account information. Name, email address, phone number, shop name, and login credentials when you register.
- Shop and customer data.Information you enter to run your shop — jobs, vehicles, estimates, invoices, payments, and your customers’ contact details (names, phone numbers, email addresses).
- Usage and device data. Log data, device and browser information, and basic analytics about how the Service is used.
- Payment information. Processed by third-party payment providers; we do not store full card numbers.
2. How we use information
- To provide, maintain, secure, and improve the Service;
- To send transactional messages on your shop’s behalf (for example, ready-for-pickup texts, estimates, and reminders);
- To communicate with you about your account, support requests, and service updates;
- To detect and prevent fraud and abuse, and to comply with law.
3. SMS and messaging
Auto repair shops that use Shop Cloud Pro send text messages to their customers about their vehicle service — appointment confirmations, estimates, invoices, and status updates. Each shop is the sender of its own messages; Shop Cloud Pro provides the technology that delivers them. Customers provide their mobile number and agree to receive these texts from their shop when they book an appointment or create a repair order, in person or through the shop’s booking and intake forms. Phone numbers are used only to send these service messages. Message frequency varies based on your service activity. Recipients can opt out at any time by replying STOP and can reply HELP for assistance; message and data rates may apply.
Your mobile information will not be sold or shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes, and mobile opt-in and consent data is never shared with third parties. Messaging is carried by our telecommunications providers only to the extent needed to deliver messages you initiate.
4. How we share information
We share information only as needed to run the Service:
- Service providers that host our infrastructure and deliver messages, payments, and storage on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations;
- Legal and safety reasons, when required by law or to protect rights, property, or safety;
- Business transfers, in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
We do not sell your personal information.
5. Data retention
We retain information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request export or deletion of your data as described below.

8. Shop customers
When a shop uses the Service, the shop is the controller of its customers’ data and we act as its processor. If you are a customer of a shop that uses Shop Cloud Pro and have questions about your data, please contact that shop directly.
9. Children’s privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version with a new “Last updated” date and, where appropriate, provide additional notice.
